Natural Colours

Natural food colours are obtained by means of physical or solvent extraction from recognised natural sources of fruit, vegetables, and spices.

The use of natural colours is growing as a result of increased interest in products of a natural origin. They are available as either water or oil soluble products and are formulated to be easily dispersed in the chosen application.

As many of these products are sensitive to process conditions and type of packaging (light, temperature, ph), it is necessary to pay great attention in selecting the appropriate colour.
