Wood Stains

Range of water soluble dyes

Based on stringent experimental trials and on the basis of our long time acquired experiences, we can offer a complete selection of dyestuffs, (often still referred to by the old name of "anilines"), suited for application on wood, combining ease of use and good light fastness. These dyestuffs are generally used either in the professional or in the domestic / hobby sector.

LIGHT-FASTNESS:

Determined in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 105-B01: 2002 standard, on test material which has not been treated with a top coat, using aqueous solutions containing 20 gr/l of colour.
Applying a top coat generally increases light-fastness by around 2 units.

PROCEDURES:

Stains, either on their own or blended, are dissolved in water - ideally purified - until the desired depth of shade is obtained.
At this point the article is dyed using the chosen method (dipping, spraying, brush or applicator pad etc.)

Data supplied, in light of both the different methods which may be employed and materials used, is to be considered for guidance purposes only and does not constitute requirement specifications. For this reason we cannot accept liability with regard to use of our products; we do however guarantee that the high quality of our products does not vary.
Products must be preserved, and utilised, in compliance with industry-wide best practice hygiene and safety standards.
